Fernando Valerio

Fernando is a Brooklyn, New York native. He attended Pensacola Christian College graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. As a registered nurse for over fifteen years, Fernando recently returned to New York after years of service in the southern states, where he has served in multiple roles in the long term rehabilitation setting from a certified nursing assistant, director of nursing, to a Regional Director of MDS/PPS. He recently moved back to his hometown where he started his employment with CareRite Centers as a regional Director of Clinical Assessment. After working at the Riverside's sister community Sans Souci in Yonkers, he was transferred to the Riverside, bringing his years of skills and wealth of knowledge of medicare and medicaid guidelines. His goals are to assure that his team is accurately reviewing and documenting the level of care each resident is provided by the different departments during their stay at The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center.
